Abstract
The directive figure is the high representation of power within the educational institutions, because of this, it must provide an ideal work environment for all members of the educational community, which waits its guidance in the execution of the teaching-learning process. One way in which the principal of the school can achieve the stated goals is by delegating his power to members capable of exercising it, this is called Distributed Leadership, this document seeks to reflect on the position and meaning that the principal gives to distributed leadership, as well as its intervention within the institution.
