Abstract
The military logistic at all levels allows maintaining the operational capacity of personnel, material and equipment, so a solid logistics system, considering that there are some aspects that make operations increasingly complex, due to the very nature of the peacekeeping missions of the United Nations, would allow us to support operations effectively. The objective of this research study is to analyze the importance of logistical support in peacekeeping operations under UN mandate. Since the armed forces of Peru, in their strategic role of supporting foreign policy, participate in UN peace operations, and there are challenges that are presented to the forces or contingents that are deployed on mission and on the other hand the interest in researching, in order to determine the importance of logistics and how it affects the course of operations in terms of planning and management, thereby achieving better decision making in terms of logistical aspects
